Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Content Creator is responsible for producing and publishing engaging content across Youth Hub's digital platforms in support of the organization's marketing objectives. The role covers content development, social media management, campaign execution, and performance reporting, working closely with the Marketing Manager and external agency partners.
The postholder turns Youth Hub's everyday activity — events, programs, and community moments — into content that strengthens the brand and connects with young audiences. The role suits a creative, proactive storyteller with a strong visual and written sense, sound judgement about tone and audience, and the discipline to publish consistently and to schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Development and Coordination
Produce written and visual content for Youth Hub's digital platforms, in line with brand guidelines and the agreed content calendar.
Coordinate with the agency team to develop digital marketing assets and campaign materials.
Support the promotion of Youth Hub's events, programs, and membership offering through digital channels.
Maintain an organized, accessible library of digital marketing content and source files.
Ensure all outgoing communications are consistent with Youth Hub's brand identity, tone of voice, and visual standards.
Digital Marketing
Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across social media and online platforms.
Manage digital marketing tools and applications used for scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement.
Monitor campaign performance throughout the campaign cycle and recommend improvements based on data and audience insight.
Social Media Management
Manage Youth Hub's social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and timely publishing.
Schedule, publish, and monitor content across all digital channels.
Engage with the online community by responding to messages, comments, and user interactions within agreed response times, escalating sensitive matters to the Marketing Manager.
Reporting and Analytics
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing performance reports for the Marketing Manager.
Analyze social media and digital marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.
Track content performance against agreed objectives and share practical recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field. (Required)
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, communications, or a related field. (Required)
Demonstrable portfolio of published social media or digital content. (Required)
Experience creating content for youth, education, or community-focused audiences is an advantage.
Certifications
No mandatory certification. Certification in digital marketing, social media marketing, or analytics (e.g. Meta Blueprint, Google Digital Marketing) is an advantage.
Languages
Kurdish — fluent, written and spoken. (Required)
English — good command, written and spoken. (Required)
Arabic — an advantage.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills
Social media management across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including scheduling and community management tools.
Digital marketing campaign planning and execution.
Content writing and copy-editing for digital channels.
Marketing reporting and performance analysis using platform analytics.
Basic photography, video capture, and editing for social media formats.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Performance will be assessed against the following indicators, to be finalized with the Marketing Manager at the start of each performance cycle:
Volume and consistency of content published against the agreed content calendar.
Growth in followers, reach, and engagement rate across managed platforms.
Campaign performance against agreed objectives.
Response time to community messages and comments.
Timeliness and quality of weekly and monthly reporting.
Brand consistency across published content.
