Job description
SECTION I: POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Associate supports the day-to-day execution of the Deals.KRD platform. The role focuses on coordinating merchant onboarding, supporting campaign execution, and ensuring smooth operational processes. Working closely with the Operations Manager and crossfunctional teams, the associate contributes to maintaining efficiency and service quality. This position plays a key role in supporting growth and enhancing both user and partner experience.
SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
• Identify and approach new merchants to join the Deals.KRD platform
• Pitch and sell marketing packages to potential partners
• Onboard new merchants, ensuring accurate setup of profiles and offers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants Account Management & Support
• Act as the first point of contact for merchant inquiries and issues
• Resolve operational and technical issues faced by merchants
• Ensure merchants are satisfied and actively engaged on the platform Platform Operations & Quality Control
• Monitor and test platform functionality to ensure all features work properly
• Identify bugs or issues and coordinate with the technical team for resolution
• Support the smooth execution of campaigns and offers within the app User & Operational Support
• Provide timely support to users facing issues within the platform
• Assist in improving overall user experience through feedback and insights
SECTION III: QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Educational Level Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or related field
1-2 years of operations or platform experience Certifications Required
SECTION IV: SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, basic QA/testing, customer support systems, and app/platform management.
Soft Skills Strong communication and persuasion skills with a proactive, problemsolving mindset.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships
Language Requirements Kurdish, English, Arabic
