Data Analyst

1. Job Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, managing, and analyzing data to support organizational performance monitoring and informed decision-making.

The role involves maintaining accurate datasets, developing dashboards and reports, identifying trends and performance gaps, and providing data-driven insights to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, process, and manage data from multiple internal and external sources.

• Develop and maintain datasets, performance indicators, and reporting frameworks.

• Create, update, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability.

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.

• Provide analytical support and actionable insights to management and relevant departments.

• Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, processes, and methodologies.

• Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to collect and validate required data.

• Support compliance with data governance, confidentiality, and quality standards.

• Prepare periodic performance reports and respond to ad hoc data analysis requests.

• Support improvements in data collection, reporting processes, and analytical efficiency.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

3. Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or related roles.

• Experience working with databases, datasets, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Good understanding of data management, data quality, and performance measurement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Knowledge of SQL or other data analysis tools is an advantage.
