Job description
Role Summary:
The QA/QC Training Officer is responsible for ensuring quality standards, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization's operations. The role combines internal auditing, process monitoring, and staff training, with a strong focus on ISO 9001 implementation and customer-focused quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management standards across all branches.
Act as the internal auditor to monitor compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
Support second- and third-party audits, ensuring readiness, accurate documentation, and timely follow-up on corrective actions.
Maintain accurate quality records, audit reports, and compliance documentation.
Process Improvement
Monitor day-to-day operational processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on customer experience and service quality.
Conduct regular site visits to branch offices in Erbil, Duhok, and Zakho to assess operations and ensure consistent standards.
Training & Development
Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) based on gap analysis findings.
Design and develop training content, materials, and assessments to address identified needs.
Deliver or coordinate the delivery of staff training programmes across branches.
Track training outcomes and report on effectiveness.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, clean, and analyze quality and operational data using MS Excel.
Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and recommendations for management.
Use data insights to support decision-making and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Quality Management, Engineering, or similar).
Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
Proven experience in internal auditing and supporting external (second- and third-party) audits.
Experience in Training Needs Assessment (TNA), training content development, and gap analysis.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently between Erbil, Duhok, and Zakho branches.
Language Requirements
Kurdish: Sorani and Kurmanji – Professional (essential, given Duhok and Zakho branch coverage)
English: Professional
