Arrange introductory meetings and present the company's logistics services to decision makers.
Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects in line with monthly targets.
Client Needs Assessment and Solution Selling
Understand each client's delivery volumes, routes, timelines and pain points before proposing a solution.
Explain logistics services clearly, including courier, freight, warehousing and last-mile delivery, as relevant to the client.
Work with the operations team to confirm what can be delivered before making commitments to clients.
Proposals, Pricing and Closing
Prepare quotations and proposals using approved price lists, and refer special pricing requests to the Sales Manager.
Follow up on proposals, handle objections and negotiate within approved limits.
Close agreements and coordinate contract preparation and signature with the relevant teams.
Account Management and Retention
Coordinate smooth onboarding of new clients with the operations and customer service teams.
Maintain regular contact with assigned clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
Address client concerns promptly and escalate service issues to the responsible team.
Sales Administration and Reporting
Record all leads, meetings, opportunities and client communication in the customer relationship management system.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity and results reports for the Sales Manager.
Support collection follow-up on outstanding client payments when required.
Market Awareness
Monitor competitor services, pricing and market trends in the logistics sector, and share insights with the team.
Represent the company professionally at exhibitions, business events and client meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience

Organised, reliable and professional in appearance and conduct.
Valid driving licence is an advantage.
Working Conditions
Office-based in Erbil, with regular field visits to clients and prospects.
