Operations Associate – Souvenirs & Physical Assets
The Operations Associate is responsible for the end-to-end operations of the souvenir project, including inventory, wholesale distribution, retail coordination, lead generation, supplier management, product movement, and on-ground execution. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual capable of managing daily operations across multiple sales channels, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, partners, retail points, warehouses, events, and internal teams. The role also supports business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, managing wholesale relationships, and ensuring product availability and operational efficiency at all times.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Souvenir Operations & Inventory Management
• Manage day-to-day operations of the souvenir project across all locations and sales
channels.
• Track inventory levels, stock movement, replenishment, and warehouse organization.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, sales tracking, and operational reports.
• Monitor low-stock items and coordinate timely restocking and procurement.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits across shops, warehouses, and
partner locations.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, packaging, and movement of products.
Distribution & Retail Coordination
• Coordinate product distribution to branches, shops, hotels, events, tourist locations,
and partner outlets
• Ensure all locations remain properly stocked and operational
• Manage product transfers between branches and storage locations
• Coordinate retail display setup, merchandising, and product presentation standards
• Follow up with sales points and partners regarding stock requirements and product
performance
Wholesale Sales & Lead Generation
• Generate and follow up on wholesale and B2B leads for souvenir sales
• Build relationships with hotels, tourism companies, corporate clients, ministries, gift
shops, airports, events, and retail partners
• Identify new sales opportunities and expansion channels
• Coordinate wholesale orders, quotations, delivery timelines, and follow-ups
• Support partnerships and collaborations that increase product visibility and revenue
Operational Execution & Logistics
• Execute urgent and time-sensitive operational requests end-to-end.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, transportation, and event requirements.
• Support operational setup for exhibitions, activations, kiosks, pop-ups, and
promotional campaigns.
• Ensure smooth coordination between operations, marketing, sales, and management
teams.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently to avoid disruptions.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities:
Track operational expenses, supplier payments, and purchase requests.
• Maintain organized operational documentation, contracts, invoices, and records.
• Assist in budget tracking and operational cost control.
• Ensure SOP compliance and operational reporting standards are maintained.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, Logistics, Marketing, or related field.
Years of Experience:
2-3 years of experience in operations, retail, logistics, distribution, wholesale, or inventory management
Key competencies:
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience managing inventory systems, stock movement, and supplier coordination.
• Commercial mindset with strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational streams .

• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
• Fluency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic (spoken and written) is required.
